Welcome to our humble cattery

We are a small cattery nestled in "The Livable Forest" otherwise known as Kingwood, and we proudly hail from the great nation of Texas.  Our kitties are our pets first and foremost, we breed for quality, not quantity. They sleep on the bed, come running when the shower turns on, play a good game of fetch, nap in the sink, curl up on the couch next to us and are always under foot in the kitchen.  Our folds are raised with plenty of love and affection, and are extremely well socialized with children and adults alike.

All Scottish Fold kittens are born with straight ears.  At about 3 weeks old, the ears fold... or not.  On average, 50% of the kittens will fold, and their straight eared counterparts make the most adorable pets and are also invaluable in the national breeding program, as we strictly breed folded ear to straight ear ONLY.

Not Your Average Alley Cat

As you can see from the diagram below, this breed is not your run of the mill feline.  One look at their innocent expression and rounded features,  and you are instantly drawn into their soul. Fortunately, 'straight ear' folds (oxymoron) are blessed with the exact same characteristics, except for the ears of course.  The Scottish Fold have plenty of wit and charm to match their outer beauty, they are almost freakishly sweet natured.  Their loyal and playful nature makes for the absolute best house pet ever!

What is a Scottish Fold?

Click here to learn more about the effects of "estrus" on Scottish Fold Females.  Estrus is the regularly recurring period in which female mammals (animals) are receptive to mating and reproduction.  A "heat cycle" is a single occurrence of estrus, also known as rut.  Hormones often affect the tightness of the folded ears.
